After Completion: The Retainer
Teeth carry memory. A retainer, worn nightly, ensures your new alignment becomes permanent
rather than fleeting. This is not an optional afterthought — it is the step that protects the work
for years to come.
If a Tray Is Lost or Damaged
Contact us without delay. Depending on your stage of treatment, you may be advised to
wear your previous tray or progress to the next while a replacement is arranged. More than a
day or two without a tray risks the ground already gained.

Most South African medical aids classify clear aligners as cosmetic, so coverage is typically
limited — though certain schemes include orthodontic benefits worth confirming. Our team will
